Some third-party providers may set or read their own cookies or similar technologies when their services are used on the Site.

Your browser may allow you to block, delete, or limit cookies. Doing so may affect Site functionality.

Where applicable law requires consent or an opt-out mechanism for particular cookies or processing activities, UEP will provide the required controls.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable law, you may have rights regarding your personal information, which may include the right to:

These rights may be subject to exceptions and verification requirements.

Texas Residents

The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act may provide eligible Texas consumers with rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of personal data, as well as to opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale of personal data, and qualifying profiling.

Texas residents may also have the right to appeal certain decisions regarding a privacy request.

Other U.S. States

Residents of certain other states may have similar or additional rights under their state privacy laws. We will process verified requests as required by the law applicable to the requester.

9. Exercising Your Privacy Rights

You may submit a privacy request by contacting UEP at the mailing address below or through any privacy-request method made available on the Site.

Please clearly state that your request concerns privacy rights and identify the right you wish to exercise.

We may need to verify your identity before processing a request. We will use personal information provided in connection with the request only as reasonably necessary to verify and respond to it.

Where permitted by law, an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf. We may require proof of the agent’s authority and may also require you to verify your identity directly.

If we deny a request and applicable law provides a right to appeal, you may appeal by contacting us through the same method and stating that you are appealing a privacy-rights decision.

UEP will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

10. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Signals

Some browsers provide “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is not a universally accepted technical or legal standard for responding to all Do Not Track signals, the Site may not respond to them in a uniform manner.

Where applicable law requires recognition of a legally valid browser-based opt-out preference signal, UEP will process the signal as required by that law.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for a general business audience and is not directed to children under 13.

UEP does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the public Site. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 in a manner prohibited by applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

12. International Visitors

UEP is based in the United States. If you access the Site from another country, your personal information may be processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where UEP or its service providers operate.

Those jurisdictions may have data-protection laws that differ from the laws of your country.

Nothing in this Privacy Policy authorizes the transmission or disclosure of export-controlled information in violation of U.S. law.

13. Third-Party Links and Embedded Services

The Site may link to or integrate services operated by third parties. Those third parties have their own privacy practices, and this Privacy Policy does not govern their independent processing.

We encourage you to review the privacy notices of third-party services before providing information to them.
